Desert Island Confectionery has given this traditional sweet a progressive twist. Their nougat is chewy like a slightly short torrone (I don't know what that is either, but it sure is tasty and chewy). The almonds are slow roasted with a beautiful crunch. The chocolate is pure couverture (chocolate made with extra cocoa butter).
They've combined them all in a delightful ratio and packed them in a bar you are sure to love. Intended to be consumed at room temperature but if you like a crunchy nougat try placing it in the fridge. Enjoy!
